About

A legacy of engineering excellence.

Molls and Hersh, LLC is a Utah limited liability company based in South Jordan. We are a small firm by design — senior engineers, direct communication, and software we are proud to sign our name to.

Our heritage

Thirty years of shipping software for demanding industries — fintech, logistics, government, and enterprise data — through every platform shift from client-server to cloud to agentic AI. The lesson that survives all of them: architecture is what you're left with when the trend moves on. We invest there.

Pioneering agentic AI with MCP

What is MCP?

Created by Anthropic, the Model Context Protocol is a universal standard — like a USB-C port for AI — that lets models and agents connect securely to external tools, databases, and APIs. Before MCP, every connection meant custom, brittle, one-off code.

Why it changes everything

Agentic AI means systems that reason, plan, and act autonomously across multi-step work. MCP is the backbone that makes that possible at commercial scale — the REST API moment of the agentic era. We were early adopters of LLMs in our own development practice, and we build MCP-native systems today.

The bench behind the brand

Thirty years  ·  Seven industries  ·  One standard

Molls and Hersh is small by design, but the experience it draws on is not. Three decades of shipped production software sit behind every engagement — most of it earned in places where a defect is expensive, highly visible, or both.

Industries in the mix

  • Banking, lending & credit-union data
  • Third-party logistics & fulfillment
  • Government & public records
  • Education publishing & e-learning
  • High-volume e-commerce
  • Industrial automation & HMI
  • Airline & travel reservations

Where the depth is

The technical spine is .NET — every release from the Framework era through .NET 10 — with Blazor, EF Core, and distributed service architecture built on top — extending to .NET MAUI for cross-platform apps, and to Swift or Android Studio when a product warrants going fully native. Around it: multi-tenant SaaS and domain-driven design, regulated rule engines, WebAuthn and OIDC, hash-chained audit ledgers, and a testing discipline that reaches for mutation and property-based matrices rather than a coverage percentage. Most recently, agentic AI and MCP-native tooling — adopted in our own practice first, and only then offered as work.

Where the work happens

All development is performed in the United States. We do not offshore work — not to subcontractors, not to agencies, not to anyone. When an engagement calls for more hands than we have, we extend the team with vetted US-based engineers, working to the same review standards and shipping under the same signature.

Our founder and principal engineer, Mark, conceived and engineered the technology behind a US patent on which he is named co-inventor; he also earned Telerik MVP accreditation and a BS in Information Systems.

The software is what we would rather be judged on.

Work with us

Two ways to engage — embedded expertise or turn-key delivery — and one way to start:a conversation.
